Pumpkins!

Look what we did last week!
We talked about the life cycle of a pumpkin

Mrs. Crawford is explaining the parts of the pumpkin to the children.
After cutting off the top, she showed them the pulp, seeds and flesh.
She explained to the children that when we eat pumpkin, we are eating
the flesh!

We decided that the pumpkin needed a face and a name. We named
our pumpkin Jacklyn and gave her a very pretty face!!

We cut up the flesh to be cooked.

After cooking the pumpkin, we mixed in some
sugar and cinnamon and everyone grabbed a
spoon to taste! It was delicious!
