I am so so excited that spring is almost here! This weekend gave us a little preview of hopefully a nice and warm spring! This week's theme is spring. By the end of this week, your child should be able to tell you all about this season!

Students are putting together cracked eggs. In order to do this, they must solve the addition problem. |
Have you heard? We will have ducks in 24 days! Ducks take 28 days to incubate and hatch. We put our eggs in the incubator Thursday. We should only have to wait about 24 more days!
In math, we are learning about 2D and 3D shapes.
In this center, students had to use toothpicks and marshmallows to create a 2D shape. This was their favorite math center! I wonder why! :)

Star of the week Enna!!
The kids did such a great job creating transportation vehicles! The principals from the Fort Mill schools were here last week. I shared a few with them. They were very impressed!

I love this background! Some of the students were absent for the day we tested our vehicles. I wish I would have taken all of the pictures in front of this! |
